In its nearly 50 years of operating, Sanitaire has developed a reputation of delivering high-performance, energy-efficient commercial cleaning equipment such as carpet extractors and backpack vacuums. Its CRI-certified range of appliances was designed to produce stellar results without all the noise, keeping business disruption to an absolute minimum. What also couldn’t be disrupted: its website, which hadn’t kept the same pace of innovation as Sanitaire machines.
While legacy is a great thing for a business, it’s not a great description of one’s web platform. Sanitaire needed a total update from a system that was slow and underperforming, and also needed to integrate its ERP. This was a heavy-duty clean-up effort.
Our experienced team performed the migration from Sanitaire’s legacy platform, retaining all customer information and data. Once on Shopify, a customized design was created in accordance with the brand’s requirements, and the ERP system was seamlessly integrated. The new website retained some of the look-and-feel Sanitaire customers knew and trusted, but with much-improved performance and functionality. Lastly, third party apps and widgets were evaluated and incorporated as requested by the client. It was a clean sweep.
